Membership is now made available "Online" at a significant discount. It should be noted that Global Resorts Network is the exclusive "online" marketing arm for this private travel agency. They hold the only license to market this product on the Internet. Over the years, this private travel agency has developed strong relationships across the resort and travel industry. Because of this, they have an extreme amount of leverage and are able to consistently brokerage deep discounted deals at luxury resorts around the globe.
Private Resort Contracts
By setting up exclusive contracts with these resorts, a member is able to take unlimited vacations every year at 3, 4 and 5 star resorts around the world. They have over 5,000 resorts with over 250,000 accommodations to choose from at any given time. These deals are not your typical "live feeds" of expiring rooms you find at other Membership Clubs, where the hotels shoot out a wire with their low-priced specials. Global Resorts Network can also receive those feeds, but the heart and engine of their service is their contractual resort agreements where you pick and choose the time period you wish to stay (week, month, year), and the locations you want to stay. They apparently have no limits on weeks, so staying at resorts year round is possible... if you don't have a job to worry about. Global Resorts Network also has Guest Weeks" for close friends and family who are non-members, which allows them to take a vacation through your membership. They also have live support for special requests such as extending a stay at a resort.
Comparing... Time Share - Big 3 - Destination Clubs
1) You can go buy a "Time Share" at full retail or in the aftermarket with upfront fees of $10,000 to $30,000+ on average, annual maintenance fees in the many hundreds of dollars, plus couple hundred more in annual taxes, etc. Time Shares limit access to your new Time Share unit, typically offering either one to two weeks each year, or every other year. Personally, I feel you'll have an albatross on your hands when buying a Time Share.
2) You can search the "Big 3" (Expedia, Travelocity, Orbitz) and stay a full week at the same Time Share Resort unit for around $1,500.00 to $2,500.00 on average. This is what most folks do over buying a "time share".
3) You become a member with a Destination Travel Club like "Global Resorts Network", and stay at the exact same Time Share, for an entire week, and pay a few hundred dollars. Most cases members spend around $298.00 to $550.00 for one week, with no other fees, hidden or otherwise. Savings are usually around $1400.00 compared to the "BIG 3" for a weeks stay.
The Unknown Alternative
The word is getting out, slowly, that there is a new and cheaper way to take vacations. Right now, most people either go "online" and use one, or all of the "Big 3" travel search engines to find a reduced deal on their accommodations. Or they buy a "Time Share" unit in the hopes that they'll save money by not going direct to the resort and paying full price. What the masses are not aware of are the Travel Destination Membership Club alternative which have tremendous savings over options 1 and 2.
Global Resorts Network membership fees are either a 3 year membership of $1495.00, or a flat lifetime membership of $2995.00. They do not have annual dues or other fees with their membership. So although joining a travel club may seem high, even for Global Resorts Network, choosing the right club can save money in the long run, and in many cases, in the short run too. A lot depends on the discount rate they have negotiated at the resorts. That's what you need to figure out. How many vacations before you see the savings.

Two For One
One advantage of becoming a member with Global Resorts Network is you then have the right to market their membership to anyone. When you refer someone, and they join, you can earn a 30% commission. Commissions are either $500 or $1000 depending on the purchase of either the 3 year or lifetime membership. They also have overrides of $500 and $1000 in their compensation plan.
As mentioned at the beginning of this article, when purchasing "online", you do not pay the full retail price of $7k to $10K to join Global Resorts Network. This can give you a head start in re-cooping your upfront membership fee.
